I relate to all of this. I have also found that once I balanced my self compassion and desire to support, it weeded out those with selfish intentions. The relationships that remain are mush more satisfying and Iām more at ease. Fully present for myself and others. ššš
Ashe!! You bring up such a wonderful point regarding my circle āļø. Itās so much smaller than it was in the past but these connections remaining are so satiatingly satisfying!! All the parasites š¦ some could say have fell away and Iām so not sad about that!!
Thank you for vibing with me on this and reminding me of a whole other piece of the benefits.

I relate. After learning about codependency last year, I took a step back to re-evaluate me: how I deal with me vs. how I deal with others. It was enlightening and disheartening. I'm grateful for the lessons because it created the space for the old me to merge with a healthier me, and I'm much happier.
Itās worth repeating, āMan, sometimes it takes you a long time to sound like yourself.ā
Miles Davis! Your reply made me really dig into the depths in which words can impact us, shake 𫨠us from our patterns and lead us back home to ourselves.
I love a good read so the book recommendation is highly appreciated! I am so glad my words wrapped you in what you needed today. Itās literally why I write āš¾. In hopes, to do that for someone. So thank you for taking the time to comment and tell me that.

What a revealing and interesting piece. It resonates. Perfectionism. Finding balance. Priorities.
I appreciate your self-examination and hope this community gives you the affirmation and support needed to continue releasing the inner writer within.
Be well,
