In a world filled with chaos and tension, it's amazing how art can bring us together and uplift our souls. 🌍✨ As the upcoming election looms, finding solace in the music of Tems has been nothing short of a blessing. 🙏

Amidst the craziness of it all, her songs provide those moments of sheer joy and peace, serving as the perfect life soundtrack. 🎼

This is how Tems opens up the song Wickedest and sometimes I listen to these specific lyrics repeatedly, where I will run it back on my Spotify multiple times until the hype of it all has washed over me.

In the last 5 years, my life underwent a transformation fueled by resilience and self-empowerment. I broke free from a toxic relationship, reclaimed my confidence, and embraced my creativity. Like Tems in her song 'Wickedest,' I found myself on a mission, moving forward with tunnel vision and unwavering determination. I refused to be held back by the past, choosing to prioritize myself and my well-being above all else.

One version of what joy looks like

As I navigated the aftermath of leaving toxicity behind, I discovered a newfound sense of freedom and authenticity. Just like Tems and her girls in the 'wickedest time,' I find myself surrounded by a community that uplifts and supports me. The moment I officially claimed myself a writer, roughly 6 months ago, it has led to new opportunities and experiences, from speaking at prestigious events, being a featured poet at a local poetry event, an acceptance and attendance to a life changing book retreat in Lisbon, Portugal, one sold out Level 1 improv showcase and now a second sold out Level 1 improv showcase, today.

Then, I started a Substack publication and found myself a community almost instantly. I am connecting with like-minded influential people daily. The Tems line, came for the wickedest whine, me and my girls on the wickedest time, is literally how I feel about my

crew. I am watching us blossom. I am seeing dreams unfold and come true. I am witnessing and maybe even inspiring new expressions of creativity. All this happening while I am having my own creative renaissance.
